I am trying to lose 40 lbs as quickly as possible but I want to be safe and healthy about it. I am going to eat 1500 calories a day, walk one hour a day (my dogs), run 30 minutes 6 days a week, and do 20 minutes a day of weight training. Should I eat the general 20% fat, 20% protien, 60% carbs? I will be exercising alot more than I have in a while (i have always been very athletic until the last couple of years), do I need more protien than this? I also get very hungry from all the exercise…do I need more calories than this?

No more than 20% of your calories should come from fat. Protein can range from 20 to 25% and the rest should be carbohydrates from vegetables, not breads.
