My gyny has set up an appointment for a Bariatric Clinic and I am just wondering what to expect.

What to Expect

Typical Progression through the Program
Initial Visit
Record Your Medical History
Draw Blood for Analysis (Except Asheville )
Perform Electronic Body Fat Analysis
Test Urine for Glucose and Protein
Receive a B-12 Injection
Dietary Counseling Session
Provide you a New Patient Package containing details about our program, lifestyle issues and other materials to promote a successful regimen for weight loss
A physician will perform a partial upper physical, explain the use of medications and answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

Third Week

Weigh-In & Consultation with Support Staff
Receive a B-12 Injection
Check Blood Pressure
Physician reviews your lab work and answers any
questions you may have.
Every Month Thereafter
Weigh-In & Consultation with Support Staff
Receive B-12 Injection
Check Blood Pressure
Visit with Physician
