Weight loss through walking?

How many miles would I have to walk a day, along with eating right, would I have to walk to lose 20 pounds? And how long would it take?

You need to burn 3500 calories to lose a pound. Walking usually averages around 200 calories per hour (depends on your weight and intensity of exercise)

Therefore 20lbs is 70,000 Calories, which equates to around 350 hours of walking, and would take around 6 months walking 2 hours per day.

This is basically a guesstimate. If you eat a proper balanced diet and cut the crap then it will take even less time.
