For the past few days, I have noticed that the right side of my belly is much larger than than my left side. I have no pain or tenderness, and feel completely healthy.
I am 25 years old, but extremely overweight. I am currently seeing a bariatric physician and have been on a reduced calorie, high protein diet. My bowel movements, while not as frequent as before the diet, are still relatively regular. The only thing I have noticed is that the stools are darker, and are of less quantity, but that could just be due to the reduced calorie intake.
Again, I have no pains, or any other outside indicators of a problem.
I saw my bariatric physician and even she was perplexed and simply recommended I get an CT scan of my stomach. She seemed concerned, but not overly worried.
I have been looking up things online and my symptom ties into a lot of serious conditions…I am worried and need someone to ease my mind.
I had a physical and complete bloodwork a month ago and everything was fine.

Could be an infected gallbladder or appendix, go to the doctor and have it checked. My Mother had no symptoms but had a really badly infected gallbladder. Doctor said she could have died if it had ruptured.
