i want to lose 14 pounds.
should i eat 1300 or the recommended 1769 calories/day?
But if i do that will i gain weight?
I'm 16 5'6'' and 138 pounds of muscle:).
I'm a competitive cheerleader about 5 to 6 days a week for 2 hours/day.
I'm really confused sorry:)

This weight calculator is very likely going on your age, height and the fact you are very active. At sixteen, you need more calories than someone in their twenties because you are in the midst of puberty.
I would increase your 1300 calorie intake because you are still young and are involved in active sport. You don't want to eat too little then lack the energy to properly enjoy your cheerleading.
