Diet drugs?

May 21, 2009

I am automatically skeptical about any diet drug on the market….ie….Trimspa, Relacore, Stacker…etc.

Am I being silly? Do any of these drugs really work? Or are they just trying to get my 29.99?
Wow, FY…..with all that rage, maybe you decided on steroids rather than caffeine.

How cute you are!
Assumptions about my intelligence because I ask a question about diet drugs? Interesting.

Some chemicals have shown some efficacy in weight loss.

Some of these are caffiene, green tea extract, hoodia and chromium.

You may need to experiment to see what works best for you.

In my case, i found chromium to be helpful in regulating blood sugar levels. Taking a supplement helped keep my hunger at normal levels instead of jumping up and down and making me crave sugar at odd times.

Now that I know this, I take a generic chromium supplement. I get, like 200 pills for $10 at the corner drug store.

I hope you find what works for you. Good luck.

Edited to add : the diet pill Alli, has proven efficacy, according to the FDA.
